Festival which Zoo gave as a present!
According to the tradition the “Children’s Zoo” was opened by a great festival for those children who cannot come here every day on their wish or depending on the possibilities of their parents… On the 2nd of June Exotarium was taking in during the whole day children from children’s homes and boarding schools of Tula and the region. This festival became a culmination of a charity action “Zoo hurries to help” organized by collaborators of Exotarium and holders of charity foundation named after Vladimir Potanin. The Director of Exotarium S.A.Ryabov, the main specialist-expert of the Department of Education T.N.Kashirina, the Head of the Department of social development I.A.Sherbakova congratulated the children and said warm words to them. In the total about 300 persons from 14 boarding schools for children who do not have parents, came to us.
That day children got acquainted with the animals of our Zoo, many of them were here for the first time. Children communicated with great enthusiasm with the inhabitants of the “Children’s Zoo”, they were eagerly feeding them, small and older children liked very much rabbit Chernysh, she-goat Belochka, sheep Zvezdochka and other animals! This was love at the first glance: they hugged the animals, pressed them to their bodies, stoked, kissed… But they had to part. Because more pleasant surprises were waiting for them: presents, pictures on cheeks and other entertainments. As one of the teachers said: “Today we will have a restless night, too much impressions and joy”.
Children we glad not only to communicate with the animals, but also to see so many grown-ups, whom they could touch, with whom they could talk, this is especially important for children with deviations or delay in development. When you see smiles and happy eyes of children you want to organize such festivals every day.
Let us give joy to children together!

Children - 50 roubles (children under the age of 3 go for free)
