A fairly-tale travel to the world of animals! On the 23rd of June Tula Exotarium organized a colourful festival for invalid children and their parents on the basis of State Organization of Tula Region “Complex Center of social service of population of the Zarechensky district of Tula”. Its name was “We are of the same blood with you”. In the process of a theatrical performance children turned out to be in a fairy-tale forest, where together with a Kind Enchantress they liberated animals enchanted by a bad Evil. Besides, thanks to the participation of psychologists of the Center and Exotarium, special tasks were worked out, which were made taking into consideration peculiarities of the diseases and development of children. So, the children were crossing rivers, ascending into mountains, making their way through high grass. The children were playing together with the heroes of the fairy-tale, turned into joyful hares and real magicians. Communication with the animals gave a cascade of positive emotions which are so necessary for these children! The children liked most of all a dwarf rabbit Coal because of its black soft hair. The ferret Yashka impressed with its activity and aroma. The children also liked very much a large radiated tortoise by its bright carapace and impressive size. And Tilya – a blue-tongues skink – was trying to frighten everybody showing its beautiful tongue. But it did not manage to cheat the children! They understood at once that Tilya was kind. The children liked even a snake – a corn rat-snake – because it was so elegant! By the way, a real hippopotamus took part in the performance, but not from Africa, it was from the shop “Hippopotamus”. The children liked him at once because of his bright costume. At the end of the festival all the children and their parents received gifts from Exotarium and from the shop of children’s toys “Hippopotamus”. The children went away in a good mood, gifts and understanding that they have many friends! In general, the festival was a success!
