On the 1st of September a festival for school-children took place.

Children, happy and beautiful, were coming to us by whole class-groups. Boys in suits, girls as little princesses with white bows were waiting for something unusual in this festive day. And they were not waiting in vain! At Exotarium their favourite characters of cartoon-films, fairy-tales and books were waiting for them; they told children about the first steps of our animals, and they proved that not only people “go to school”. Tortoise Tortilla told how monkeys teach their babies and each other. And they school-children played the role of a monkey-mother and her mischievous babies. A sister of the Wise Kaa – snake Shee-ee wanted to eat up everybody, but then she changed her mind and told about her relatives, and she played with the guests in the game “Eatable and not eatable things”. After this “dangerous” traveling, all visitors came to the knowing-all Owl who lost her pupils. She gave to the children a lesson with the topic “Teaching of nestlings, swine and predators”. And if it were not a curious monkey Chee-Chee, the Owl would not have let them go because she liked the visitors so much. But Chee-chee did not teach anything to the guests, because she is a monkey! That is why she likes to jump, skip and play, and she played with the guests and gave to everybody gifts which were left on our magic clearing by our friends: the shop “Clip” and magazine “TV seven”.
