From the 29th of January till the 15th of February at Exotarium an exhibition “A country of dragons and fairies was held, this exhibition was devoted to the culture, life and fauna of Vietnam. The visitors could see a colourful and rich world of this eastern country.
Rare animals were exhibited which were diverse and unusual. Magnificent venomous pit-vipers, amazing moss frogs attracted the attention of the visitors. A colourful exhibition of photographs demonstrated to the guests and inhabitants of Tula the diversity of different nationalities which inhabit Vietnam and the wonderful flora of this country. The items of culture and life, photographs from the expeditions about the every-day life of the Vietnamese submerged the visitors into the atmosphere of the Vietnamese life, and different stands told many interesting facts about the country, its inhabitants and symbols. For the little visitors an interesting game “Open the secrets of the East” was held, children received presents for the participation in it. On the week-ends a real Vietnamese tea was offered to the guests and inhabitants of Tula, and also the visitors were offered to learn to eat with sticks. This unusual exhibition which gave to the visitors a bit of the Eastern wisdom, will stay for a long time in the memory of the people who visited it.
