Tula Exotarium joined to the appeal of the United Nations Organization: pupils of the seventh form of 11 schools took active part in the sport-ecological relay-race “Bio-cross”. Such relay-races became the tradition of Exotarium and it is held for the third year already. The children were able to demonstrate the team spirit, their strength and skills, knowledge and quickness of wit on the three main laps. The tasks were different, and they had the following names: The first lap “Friends of Nature”. Present yourself in such way, so that the members of the jury will remember you and your rivals will get scared of you. The second lap “Biological relay-race”. You must find and “save a rare flower”, survive among “Invasion of mushrooms”, win in the “ostrich’s, cockroaches and turtle races”, fulfill more carefully than the others the “Fish’s troubles”, and only then the team will receive the first place at this lap. This time the weather prevented to organize the competitions on the stadium, that is why the relay-race took part in the sport hall of the Lyceum N 2. But, in spite of this, the “Bio-cross” was a success! That was seen by the happy faces of the children, though they were looking a bit tired, and by the satisfied teachers who were helping and training their pupils.
