- Is found from Zaire to Ethiopia and South Africa. The life span is 40 years.
- They received their name because of a greenish tinge of their hair. The skin of the face and paws is dark, even black.
- This species is often kept at zoos, nurseries and houses, and in the places of their occurrence the marmosets live side by side with people and they even attack summer coffee-houses. Lemon was born in a nursery in Australia and came to Russia as a baby. He is very affectionate and kind.
